How to Use the SAWAI Customizer

Design your own clothing in just a few simple steps.

Step 1 – Choose Your Print Method

Select your preferred decoration method at the top of the customizer:

  • DTG Printing – Best for colourful, detailed artwork.
  • DTF Printing – Perfect for vibrant designs on all garment colours.
  • Embroidery – Premium stitched finish for logos and text.
  • Sleeve Print – Add designs to the left or right sleeve.

Only print methods available for your chosen garment will be selectable. See Customization Print Options shown on your chosen garment.

Step 2 – Upload Your Design

Click Upload Image to add your artwork, logo or graphic.

You can:

  • Crop your image
  • Remove the background (optional)
  • Save it to your image gallery
  • Add it directly onto your garment

Step 3 – Add Custom Text

Click Add Text to personalise your garment with names, quotes or messages.

You can customise:

  • Font style
  • Text colour
  • Text size
  • Letter spacing
  • Curved text
  • Text rotation

Step 4 – Position Your Design

Click and drag your artwork or text to move it around the garment.

Use the on-screen controls to:

  • Resize
  • Rotate
  • Delete
  • Change the layer order (bring forward or send backward)

Step 5 – Customise Every Side

Use the side selector to personalise different areas of your garment.

You can design:

  • Front
  • Back
  • Left Sleeve (where available)
  • Right Sleeve (where available)

Each side can have its own unique design.

Step 6 – Preview Your Design

The live preview updates instantly as you customise your garment.

You'll also see:

  • Your selected garment
  • Current print method
  • Running total
  • Price breakdown

Click See Mock Up to preview how your finished garment will look.

Step 7 – Add to Cart

When you're happy with your design, click Finish & Add to Cart.

Before checkout you can:

  • Select your size
  • Review your design one final time
  • Add it to your basket

Helpful Tips

✔ Use high-resolution images for the best print quality.

✔ Keep important artwork inside the visible print area.

✔ Double-check spelling, colours and positioning before adding your item to the cart.

✔ Each side of the garment can be customised independently.

✔ Your live preview is the design that will be produced, so please review everything carefully before placing your order.
